Using drama and theatre methods for dealing with conflicts – Boal’s Methodology in Education – Forum Theatre
Day 1
- Visiting Craiova, meeting the local authorities Welcome by Manager. NGO’s presentation.
- Seminar conducted by A. Nita, teacher (Bloom’s Taxonomy revised– Higher order of Thinking. Boal’s Methodology) Victims of social exclusion-signs. Bullying and cyber bullying.
- How can teachers ensure social inclusion of all students? – round-table, study cases, practical solutions.
- Learning activities on social inclusion using Drama Techniques. First steps in Drama techniques.
- Erasmus+ Market Place: to display food, art, photos, videos, brochures, maps of their city/village, traditional costumes of their country etc. focused on their cultural heritage.
- Videos and photos will be taken and published on project website, on Erasmus billboards in schools.
Day 2
- The Theatre of the Oppressed – Theater Forum
- “How the Grinch stole Christmas!”, by Dr. Seuss
- “Elmer the Patchwork Elephant”, by D. McKee
- “Wonder”, by R.J. Palacio
- “The Seagull who couldn’t fly”, by A. Lang
- Discussions with NGO’s psychologist
Day 3
- An inclusive and safe school and classroom for pupils’ wellbeing- reflections of own context.
- Co-creative activity: Writing 6 learning activities and 2 lesson plans. Creating materials for dissemination of the results.
- ”Knowledge Wall” on padlet EU Platforms for collaboration in social inclusion oriented projects.
- e-Twinning. TwinSpace. E+PRP. Uploading materials on TwinSpace and Project website
- Reflection. Evaluation. Satisfaction questionnaire. Certificates.
- For Blended Learning modalities: an open sourced and free to use digital ‘knowledge wall’ will be constructed during the course by all participants.
